Last November Was the First Time

Once upon a time....November 2007 was the first time we visited the imaginary land of St. Honore'. The Daring Bakers had been baking for almost a year at that point and the blogroll had grown and grown. It seemed like a fun thing to have one post, out of so many on posting day, that was a little different and took you to a special land where baking was beloved. Thus began the Land of St. Honore'. Posts were posted on Feeding My Enthusiasms, but recently I decided that the Land deserved it's own blog, a place where I could post the Daring Baker challenges, but also any other baking post that I wanted to have as a tale in this wondrous land.
St. Honore' is the patron saint of bakers. His land is wide and full of all sorts of interesting characters. There are cities and towns, cultivated rural areas and unspoiled country, lakes and mountains and streams and meadows. The posts from Feeding My Enthusiasms that are set in this land will be re-posted here. Soon there will be non- daring Baker posts, too. A Daring Baker blogroll link is included so that you can go and see what they are doing in the real world with the month's challenge.
